A popular member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, in Lagos, Sulaimon Lawal Onaolapo popularly known as ‘Arikuyeri’ has been killed.
He was killed on Sunday, August 28, 2022. He was 42.

‘Arikuyeri’ was murdered in broad daylight by members of a rival cult group in an ongoing battle for control of motor parks in Mile 12 area of Lagos.
The late Onaolapo was in charge of the park under the Mile 12 bridge.
A viral video shows three men bludgeoning Arikuyeri with sticks and other objects while he lies motionless on the ground.
Confirming the incident, Lagos Police Spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin said; “One person died but normalcy has been restored. Police are on the ground.”
