Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa has been killed.
South Africa Football Association, SAFA, confirmed that he was shot dead on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Vosloorus, South Africa.
SAFA spokesperson, Dominic Chimhavi, confirming the death of the 27-year-old said that details of the incident were still unclear.
Senzo Meyiwa was the captain of both club and country, he played his last game for Orlando Pirates on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Orlando stadium in their Telkom Knockout 4-1 quarterfinal win over Ajax Cape Town.
