The Senate on Wednesday, February, 24, 2021 confirmed Abdulrasheed Bawa as the substantive chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Bawa was confirmed after a two hour question and answer session where he answered questions from over 14 Senators at the red chamber.
He was ushered into the hallowed Chamber 11:45am by the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari, Senator Babajide Omoworare, rounded off the screening at 1:55 pm.
The confirmed EFCC chairman has however assured that he will discharge his duties without fear or favour and would lead by example.
