Popular Nigerian comedian Stanley Chijoke, known as Aboki So So Funny, is dead.
According to Idoma Voice, Chijoke lost his life on Sunday night, July 10, in a fatal motorcycle accident around abattoir in the Agege area of Lagos State.
Although circumstances surrounding his death are quite unclear, an unnamed source claimed the accident occurred when the motorcycle the skitmaker was on tried to overtake a trailer.
However, Stanley’s brother, Chinonso, who confirmed his death, stated that his stomach was ripped open, and his intestines gushed out.
Naija News recalls that popular filmmaker Edgard Leroy recently died in a car crash along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway barely a month after winning his first Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award.
The Cameroonian-born filmmaker was on his way to Ibadan, Oyo State, for a movie shoot when the unfortunate incident happened.
The rising filmmaker emerged winner of the award for the Best Indigenous Movie (Yoruba) for his first feature film, Alaise, on May 14, 2022, at the seventh AMVCAs.
