A group of purported fierce looking armed thugs have scared off voters who went to exercise their franchise on Saturday, April 11, 2015 for the governorship and House of Assembly candidates of their choice.
The thugs were said to have invaded a polling unit in Akwa Ibom State while the election process was in progress and made away with the election materials, according to Vanguard.
The electorates had no choice but to run to safet to avoid being shot by the political rebels.
In the meantime, there has not been an official confirmation of the incident which reportedly took place in the afternoon of aforementioned date.
