Coach of Nigeria’s national football team, Mr. Sunday Oliseh has resigned as coach of the team.
The resignation, which came after the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) directed the coach to start reporting to Shuaibu Amodu, national technical director of the federation, TheCable reports.
Oliseh, who is a former captain of the Super Eagles, made public is decision via social media website, Twitter “Due to contract violations, lack of support, unpaid wages, benefits to my players, assistant coaches and myself, I resign as Super Eagles chief coach.
“I feel fortunate, blessed and eternally grateful for having had the honour to play, captain and coach this great nation of ours, Nigeria,” he wrote in two tweets.
