Many were feared dead as twin bomb blasts on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 went off at the popular GSM market located in Nassarawa GRA, Kano State.
Speaking about the incident, an eyewitness who identified himself as Ali Isa, told Vanguard that the Improvised Explosive Device was planted close to the generator serving the market, while the second bomb went off at the heart of the market.
Many residents scampered for safety during the explosions that happened during the late afternoon prayers.
There has not been immediate claims of responsibility of the the explosions but speculations suggest that the Boko Haram insurgents must have masterminded it.
