Former F1 champion Michael Schumacher has been discharged from the hospital to continue his recovery at home.
His manager announced on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 that the F1 legend has left a Swiss hospital to his house.
She said in a statement there was “a long and difficult road ahead”.
Schumacher suffered a head injury in a skiing accident in France in December 2013 and has been in the Swiss hospital since June 2014.
Schumacher’s family in June announced that he was no longer in the medically induced coma he was placed in to reduce swelling in his brain.
