Ibrahim Lamorde, the chairman of the anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, was on Monday, November 9, 2015 sacked by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Lamrde who has been at the helms of affairs of the commission since 2011 was replaced by Ibrahim Magu, a top level official of the Economic and Governance Unit of the EFCC.
The development was divulged through a a presidential source, who disclosed that Lamorde came to the Presidential Villa, where he allegedly held a last meeting with Buhari, according to Channels.
Although the source said the reason for Lamorde’s sack has not been stated.
