Blessing Okagbare has just won gold in the 200m in the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The Nigerian sprinter claimed the women’s 200m gold in a time of 22.25, edging out England pair Jodie Williams and Bianca Williams on Thursday, July 30, 2014.

Okagbare, who won Gold in the women’s 100m, becomes the 11th woman in history to win both 100m and 200m.

Nigeria currently ranks 8th on the medal table with 8 Gold, 6 Silver and 11 Bronze, making a total of 25 medals.
