Report reaching us indicates that a loud explosion has just occurred few minutes ago in the Nyanya axis of the Federal Capital Territory.
We are unable to confirm the nature of the explosion which reportedly happened opposite the Nyanya Bus Park, the location of the April 14 bombing which killed 70 people.
Casualties remain unknown and people are there is panic in the area.
According to Sahara Reporters, the National Emergency officials have confirmed the incident.

The Inspector General of Police M. D. Abubakar has visited the scene of blast and said, “It has just happened, I can’t say anything for now, we are assessing the situation”.
A reporter for BBC, Nkem Ifejika reports speaking to an eyewitness who says he counted 20 bodies at the scene of the blast.
