Hollywood actor Harrison Ford has been injured in a small plane crash in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 5, 2014.
Officials from the fire department reveal that Ford suffered moderate trauma from the impact of the crash. He sustained moderate injuries and was evacuated from the crash scene conscious and breathing.
He was reportedly piloting a single-engine plane that crashed onto a golf course in Venice, near the Santa Monica Municipal Airport.
Aerial footage showed a plane on the ground and one person being treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital, NBC in Los Angeles reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
72-year-old Ford has been rushed to the hospital and is being treated for unknown injuries.
