Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state has announced that worship centres in the state will reopen on Friday, August 7, 2020.
The governor disclosed this on Saturday, August 1, 2020 while announcing the next phase of COVID-19 lockdown guidelines.
Worship centres have been closed since the pandemic broke out in Lagos state in March 2020.
With this new development, Mosques will be open from Friday, August 7, while church services will hold from Sunday, August 8, 2020.
The governor also announced that restaurants in the state will be allowed to operate eat-in services from August 14. While schools are to open for exit students on Monday, August 3.
