Information from our reporters monitoring the Rivers rerun elections indicate that the INEC collation officer has absconded from duty in Port Harcourt Local Government Area.
All election officials of the INEC along with police officers working with the INEC officials have assembled with the results for Port Harcourt LGA at the INEC office.
According to a source familiar with the situation, the results have been ready since 3.30 pm on Saturday, March 19, 2015 but the INEC collation officers are nowhere to be found for the result collation to commence.
There is total confusion as nobody knows why the collation officers have run away and are nowhere to be found.
