The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Lamorde has been fired from his position on Monday, November 9, 2015.
Citizens reporter website, Sahara Reporters reports that Ibrahim Magu, a top level official of the Economic and Governance Unit of the EFCC, has been elevated to the position of chairman of the commission.
Ibrahim Lamorde was appointed into the position by former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2011.
Magu is one of the founding official of the commission who was fired by former EFCC boss, Farida Waziri.
