Report say the slain soldier was killed in an ambush near Damboa.
The Islamist terrorists attacked a vehicle conveying soldiers on Sunday, September 20, 2020.
Reports say the slain colonel will be laid to rest on September 22.
Boko Haram, which is ranked the third most deadly terrorist organisation in the world, has killed hundreds of Nigerian army fighters, tens of thousands of civilians and have left millions displaced.
