The Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State, Malam Musa Adamu, has resigned.
Adamu, who is the zonal vice chairman of the party for Bauchi South Senatorial District, announced his resignation at a news briefing with journalists on Friday, September 11, 2015 in Bauchi State.
According to him, the party’s ‘unethical behaviours’ prompted him to resign so he could protect his image, honour and dignity.
He accused the party of lacking good leadership in the state, and as such, it would be unwise for him to remain in its state executive council.
He further sressed that most card carrying members of the party and the generality of sympathisers have also lost confidence in the state leadership of the APC.
While tendering his resignation notice, Adamu said: “I tender my resignation as APC Zonal Vice Chairman Bauchi South Senatorial District in view of the prevailing circumstances and political realities of present day Bauchi State APC.”
