Unknown gunmen have attacked police stations in Etim Ekpo and Ika Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom state.
Two persons are feared dead in the attacks on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. The hoodlums razed different facilities, vehicles, and other valuables.
This comes four days after five police officers and the wife of a policeman were killed following an attack on the divisional headquarters in the Ini Local Government Area.
Police facilities in at least five LGAs – Essien Udim, Ika, Ini, Ikono, and now Abak – have been attacked so far in the state.
