Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and American musician Nick Jonas have been in the news lately for what appears to be a whirlwind romance that has dominated entertainment headlines for weeks.
The two lovebirds are said to have been seeing each other for just two month and Mr. Jonas, one-third of the teen Disney singing sensation, The Jonas Brothers, has asked Miss Chopra to marry him.
In the week that the engagement took place, US Weekly reports, the pair quietly visited Oxfordshire where they were guests at the country home of the newest royal couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Merkle, also known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Priyanka Chopra is a friend to the new Duchess of Sussex and was one of the celebrity guests at the Royal Wedding in May 2018.
According to a People Magazine report, Nick Jonas, 25, popped the question in London on her 36th birthday. The couple was spotted leaving the The Chiltern Firehouse in the city on July 17, 2018, a day before her birthday.
The Disney alum, reportedly, closed down a high-end Tiffany store in New York when he bought her an engagement ring.
An insider told the tabloid that Jonas’ family has “never seen him like this” saying, “he’s very, very happy”.
There has been no official statement from the musician or the Quantico star. But, fans of the couple have erupted with excitement and disappointment on social media.
The celebrity pair began dating in May 2018. In the two months Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been dating they have been spotted on several dates by the Hollywood paparazzi.
They were captured on a private dinner date in New York City. Also at Beauty and the Beast Live in Concert show in Los Angeles.
According to an inside source, their relationship became serious after they introduced each other to their families. Chopra took Jonas to meet her mother in India who “fell instantly in love” with the musician.
Bollywood director, Ali Abbas Zafar, tweeted an announcement that Chopra had left his latest film project, “Bharat” while alluding to Nick Jonas as he said that her reason was “very, very special”.
“Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special , she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her,” Ali Abbas Zafar tweeted. “Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life.”

“We met through a mutual friend who she did Quantico with, this guy Graham [Rogers, a co-starof the actress on Quantico] and we met up like in New York the first time and the same day I think we found out that we are both going to the MET gala with Ralph Lauren,” Nick Jonas is quoted as saying.
Graham Rogers, also costarred with Jonas in the 2015 film Careful What You Wish For.
