Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro tweeted that friends of former Lagos state governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Bola Ahmed Tinubu created the Boko Haram mess we are dealing with today. He said they promised to make Nigeria ungovernable for this government.

In a series of tweets on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 the minister also addressed comments credited to Tinubu on Wednesday’s Punch newspaper where the APC chieftain accused Obanikoro of getting more involved in politics than in his duties as a serving minister.
