A state-run radio in Cameroon on Friday, September 19, 2014 confirmed that four people lost their life when Boko Haram insurgents launched a cross-border attack on a remote pat of northern Cameroo.
Cameroon Radio Television announced that the first of two attack occurred when the insurgents invaded Assighassia, a village near Mokolo.
Following calls, the Cameroonian army moved into with a fight and two of the militants were killed, while a soldier was injured in the ensuing battle.
Two hours later, the sect embers regrouped and attacked another village near Mokolo, Ganse, killing four civilians.
The Cameroonian defence ministry confirmed the attacks on Saturday, September 20, 2014.
