Former Lagos State Governor and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reacted to remarks attributed to a leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Bode George, who said he will go on exile abroad following the victory of the APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari.
Addressing newsmen, Tinubu said he was not bothered about the news, as George had earlier relocated before returning to the country, humorously adding that he would care less if George relocated to Bayelsa or Rivers State.
He said: “He had relocated temporarily before and came back. So it is not a new thing.
“If he decided to relocate again, to where? It might be to Bayelsa, it might be to Rivers. It might be to anywhere. He has the freedom to live anywhere he wants. What’s my bother? I’m here. So me, too, I can relocate now.”
