This is one video that has unexpectedly gone viral. It has been described as hypnotic.
A video aptly titled “I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up!” is “a CGI (computer-generated imagery) rendering of a horizontally rotating column knocking over and pushing around what looks like humans“.
It was uploaded on Vimeo by Dave Fothergill of the United Kingdom 6 days ago. He says he used a special-effects plug-in called Miarmy, which was designed to create crowd simulations.
It is really captivating. The bizarre video was shared on Reddit and elicited some equally bizarre comments. One user said, “This is the most oddly-satisfying thing I’ve ever seen!”; another said, “It’s like watching a hundred euphoria enabled ragdolls.”
The original video has no sound and an Internet enterpreneur has created a version with an appropriate soundtrack and sound effects which takes the video from bizarre to horrifying. Watch it HERE.
