Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme is far away in England where he is contracted to Championship side, Wolverhampton Wanderers but he is not oblivious of what’s going on back home in Africa.
The 29-year-old has sent his kind wishes to his home-based colleagues who kick off their CHAN 2016 campaign in Rwanda later on Monday, January 18, 2016.
Ikeme took to Twitter where he urged the CHAN Eagles on by wishing them goodluck and saying a short prayer for the players. “Good luck to my fellow @NGSuperEagles for the opening chan game this evening, may God guide us to victory,” he tweeted.
