Tina Knowles married Richard Lawson on a yacht over the weekend.
The 61-year-old mother of Beyoncé Knowles and her sister Solange tied the knot with the 68-year-old actor on Sunday, TMZ reports.
The lavish ceremony took place aboard a yacht named ‘Eternity’, which sailed out of Newport Beach, California, and TMZ obtained video of the sunny ceremony.
In the two-minute clip, Beyoncé’s husband Jay Z can be seen departing a black car while sporting an all white suit. It was clearly a family affair as after Jay Z exited the automobile, a little boy in an orange T-shirt jumped out and walked ahead of him into a plaza. The unidentified street looked is if it could’ve been located near a harbor with ship docks. A black Range Rover was behind the rapper’s car on the street and it appears the vehicle was transporting other family members, as Tina and Beyoncé’s glamorous entourage were all captured on film entering the plaza in dazzling attire.
TMZ claims everyone was dressed in white for the ceremony, including Solange, Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy and all their other relatives.
The Eternity yacht is said to be able to hold 300 guests, but it’s unknown just how many wedding attendees made it aboard for the nuptials.
An online registry was set up for Tina and her new husband on The Knot.com, a popular wedding planning website. The top of the couple’s entry reads: ‘Tina Knowles + Richard Lawson, Wedding Date: April 12, 2015 | Location: CA’. The bottom of the webpage invites loved ones to, ‘Find the perfect wedding gift from Tina and Richard’s registry below’ at Bed Bath & Beyond, a popular American home goods retailer.
This will be Tina’s second marriage, as she divorced from Beyoncé and Solange’s father Mathew Knowles in 2011.
