The Carters and the Knowles are looking like one big, happy family.
Photos appeared on Beyonce.com Monday, May 19, from Beyonce and Jay Z’s recent lunch with Solange in New Orleans. TMZ was the first to report that the trio gathered for an afternoon meal at NOLA’s Cafe Amelie. The ladies’ mother, Tina Knowles, was in attendance along with Solange’s boyfriend Alan Ferguson. Blue Ivy and Julez were also there.
These smiling shots come just a week after the infamous video of Solange attacking Jay Z in an elevator leaked to the press. After the video surfaced, Solange deleted photos of Beyonce from her Instagram, Beyonce posted photos with Solange to her Instagram, and everyone was thoroughly confused.
The family eventually released a statement to the Associated Press on May 15 saying they have “moved forward” from the incident “united.” And the world breathed a collective sigh of relief.
