Berahino Returns To The Hawthorns Despite Vowing Not To Play For West Brom Again

Must read

Saido Berahino was one of the most mentioned names in the recently shut English Premier league summer transfer window. This was because of the constant interest Tottenham Hotspur showed in the West Brom striker.

Spurs were confident of landing the 22-year-old but were shocked when their bids were repeatedly rejected by West Brom on transfer deadline day.

The deal never went through and an angry Berahino who was interested in joining Tottenham went on Twitter to make public his disgust. He tweeted that he will never feature for The Baggies ever again under club chairman, Jeremy Pearce.

“Sad how i cant say exactly how the club has treated me but i can officially say i will never play Jeremy Peace,” he wrote. The tweet has since been deleted.

It appears the English striker who is of Burundian heritage has had a change of mind. He has not only deleted the said tweet but he has reported back to the team after being given a week off.
