There was drama in the social media on Wednesday as Senate President Bukola Saraki reportedly threw his weight behind the Benue South senatorial re-election of Senator David Mark in a tweet from his handle @bukolasaraki.
After several conversations surrounding the tweet which featured in the hashtag #IdomaAgenda, it turned out that the account was actually a parody.
According to the @bukolasaraki tweet, the Senate was not a place for babies.
“Daniel Onjeh for Senate? When did we start admitting babies to the Senate? Start with Benue House of Assembly! Mark is the man. #IdomaAgenda”, the account tweeted.

Below are some tweets which featured prominently while the hashtag was trending:

Better to let the Daniel Onjehs fade into oblivion than to hand them a career of chop-chop in the Senate. A good Daniel will come. Not Onjeh
