[pull_quote_center]”But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner — not even to eat with such a person.” I Corinthians 5:11 NKJV[/pull_quote_center]
Paul started by saying, “I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.” Then he instructed them to avoid so-called brethren who are still living in sin.
The choice is yours: you are either a brother indeed or you are not at all. You cannot continue to deceive yourself.
You can succeed in hiding your sinful lifestyle from everyone, but you can never hide it from God. You can fool everyone else, but you cannot fool yourself. You are either going to deal with that weakness or the weakness will cost you much more than you ever imagined.
