Former Nigerian international, Tijani Babangida has been appointed as a special assistant and liaison officer to new Super Eagles chief coach, Sunday Oliseh.
Oliseh and Babangida were teammates at both Ajax Amsterdam FC and in the Super Eagles. The former Nigerian winger who was known for his frightening pace during his playing days will now join up with his new boss and the Eagles in Abuja next Sunday as preparation for next month’s AFCON qualifier in Tanzania commences.
Babangida has previously worked with Nigerian premier league side, FC Taraba.
