Media aide of Atiku Abubakar has said the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, travelled to Europe on a business trip.
This comes after former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode alleged the former vice-president collapsed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airportcollapsed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja and was flown to France for medical treatment.
A statement by Atiku’s media adviser, Paul Ibe, on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, said the former Vice President travelled last night on a scheduled trip.
According to the statement, the PDP presidential candidate is billed to meet with the technical partners of one of his business entities that were impacted by the COVID-19 global lockdown and the consequent economic downturn.
“The meeting will also focus on conclusive discussions for a planned expansion of its production facility,” it stated.
