Must read

According to reports, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has set motion to bringing back former members currently with the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) like former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwakwanso back to its fold.

This was made known by the National Secretary of the party, Prof. Wale Oladipo who spoke to newsmen, saying that the party has reached out to many of its aggrieved members, particularly those who have defected to the opposition. He said the National Working Committee recently set up a reconciliation committee to meet with former members of the PDP before the next round of elections to make sure the PDP wins the at the polls.

Oladipo also berated the track record of the APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, beckoning all Nigerians to support President Jonathan, as he means well for the country.

He said: “General Buhari is too old to rule Nigeria. He cannot be compared with President Jonathan. He is too strict and harsh for Nigerians, while Jonathan is meek, humble and dedicated to the course of democracy and good governance.”

“The 72 year old man who retired from Nigerian Army has nothing to offer this nation. His age will not even allow him to give Nigerians what they deserve. I am sure no youth in Nigeria will vote for Buhari. I will advise Nigerian youths to tell the world through their votes that the young ones can perform better.”
