LAGOS, Nigeria – A Nigerian woman who uses the handle @ella_ada3 on Tiktok has gained attention for her passionate plea to free jailed relationship coach and social media influencer Blessing Okoro, also known as Blessing CEO.
Okoro was remanded in prison after being arraigned by the police on April 1, 2023, over alleged cyber-bullying of Folashade Samuels, the sister of the late Bimbo Ogbonna, the wife of auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD.
In a video which went viral on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, the unidentified protester demanded Blessing CEO’s release, calling on the Nigerian Police to arrest and detain her in place of the socialite.
The woman, bearing a placard reading “Free Blessing CEO,” stated, “I call upon you, Nigerian Police, free Blessing CEO. She did not commit any crime. She needs to go to the hospital. She needs to go for a check-up. She needs to treat her ass. Free Blessing CEO. You can come and arrest me and free Blessing CEO.”

The lone protester argued that Blessing CEO’s detention was unjust, emphasising the importance of freedom of speech in Nigeria.
Blessing Okoro, a controversial relationship therapist and Instagram influencer, has been granted bail by the court to the tune of N10 million with two sureties in like sum. Two weeks later, she is still in custody, raising concerns that she might not have the means to bail herself out.
This is quiet unfair. BlessingCEO is in jail because of 10 million naira bail. Someone that have more than 1 million ladies supporting her on social media, she has influenced so many ladies not to date broke men, she dishes relationship/marital advices like egwusi and pando, pic.twitter.com/NXhekZGfIW

Blessing CEO always tell young girls not to date broke men. Today she is in prison because she doesn’t have 10 million naira for bail.
My question is where are all those women that hail her when she’s saying nonsense? They should contribute 10m for her na. pic.twitter.com/hYnMrpys8T

Blessing CEO is still in prison because she can’t afford her 10 million Naira bail.
It’s better to invest in a profitable business than to do liposuction for big bumbum pic.twitter.com/OhjUnn37mk— Dr Penking™🇳🇬🇦🇺 (@drpenking) April 18, 2023
Blessing CEO always brags about the caliber of people around her. Today she needs that caliber of people and for almost 2 weeks, none of them have appeared.
Were they truly her friends?
Again we tell people, social media is just all noise and packaging, don't pressure yourself.

Before her arrest, Blessing CEO had undergone a cosmetic surgery called a Brazillian butt lift (BBL) to enhance her backside.
