The Nigerian military has revealed that its troops have arrested 6 Boko Haram kingpins who sneaked into Kala Balge in Borno State following the onslaught against them in the Sambisa forest.
The acting director of army public relations, Col. Sani Kushasheka Usman, on Thursday, April 28, 2016, said the six arrested leaders are noted for getting logistics support and information for Boko Haram terrorists.
According to the army, the terrorist commanders were arrested during military operation by troops of the 3 battalion, 22 brigade.
Usman revealed the “unrepentant and hardened” insurgents include Musa Kalile Sabakara (an Ameer), Babagana John (an informant and also seller of foodstuffs), Isah Abakar (an Ameer) and Usman Abasa, (who specializes on cattle rustling and selling of food stuffs).
Others are Bukar Gujja (a tailor who prepare clothes for the terrorists) and Bukar Kahalifa (also a tailor who prepares the dress for the Boko Haram terrorists). He said the suspects are presently undergoing interrogation.
