The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 arrested the Chairman of Africa Independent Television (AIT), Raymond Dokpesi.
According to reports, the arrest is in connection with the arms purchase deal involving the office of the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, and the theft of N2.1billion from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Dokpesi was reportedly picked up at noon and whisked to the EFCC office. As at the time of filing this report, Dokpesi is being interrogated at the EFCC office.
According to SaharaRerporters report, N2.1 billion was paid to Dokpesi on the instructions of Dasuki.
