An alleged armed robber was caught in the early hours of Tuesday, November 9, 2015 in VGC Estate, Lagos State.
According to reports, the suspect was caught as he and his gang went to attack a house on Road 53.
Luck ran out on him however when some armed guards opened fire on them and later caught him inside a drainage where he took succor to escape the gun shots.
Other members of the gang escaped but not without sustaining some injuries from the gun shots.
It was learnt that he was later handed down to the police officers at Ajuwe police, in Ajah area of the state.
Meantime, there has not been an official confirmation of the incident from the police.
