Senator Ifeanyi Ararume was at the national headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over the weekend to pick up the nomination form to contest in the 2015 gubernatorial poll in Imo state.
Ararume said if elected governor, he would wrestle power away from the All Progressives Congress (APC), promising to provide the lacking infrastructure in the state.
Ararume, who had served in the senate from 2007 to 2009 and had tried his luck in the 2007 gubernatorial poll said many things were wrong with the state, adding that the citizens of the Imo had become wiser as they were determined to elect the PDP in 2015.
He said: “Since the president and the party’s National Chairman have promised that, we have no reasons to doubt them, I believe that is the way it will be in Imo during the primaries.’’
