The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State have announced their decision to boycott the gubernatorial election in the state as their loss at the polls looms.
The party alleged their decision was hinged on claims that there were several cases of hijack of electoral material by armed thugs.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has since debunked claims of the said material hijacking on their official Twitter handle:
