A former Nigerian striker, John Zakari popularly known as John Zaki passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014, in the same ward where Yomi Peters died at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LUTH.
The relatives of the late football star confirmed his death on Thursday, November 27, 2014 although the sickness that led to his death was not mentioned.
John Zaki was a former player with Shooting Stars Football Club and one Nigerian football team based in Lagos popularly called NEPA.
The late footballer was a coach with Lobi Stars Football Club in Makurdi and also a one-time captain of Stationery Stores Football Club in Lagos.
