A pervert was beaten blue black for allegedly peeping at a naked married woman while she was taking a bath in Oke-Ira, along Ajah – Badore road, in Lagos State.
The Ghanaian man identified as Koffi renowned for his habit of peeping at naked ladies in the area reportedly sustained severe injuries from neighbours who thought to teach him a well deserved lesson.
It was learnt that the husband of the victim identified as Kudi had caught Koffi in the act during the unlawful peeping.
According to Leadership, Kudi’s husband, simply identified as Mufutau said that the Ghanaian was fond of peeping at both single girls and married women but luck ran out on him when he caught him in the act on Tuesday’s evening.
Mufutau said he was returning from work when he saw somebody peeping through a hole in the makeshift bathroom.
He said, “I walked quietly to the man and also had my wife’s voice emanating from the bathroom. She was singing and did not know that our neighbour, Koffi was peeping at her.
“So I gently tapped Koffi on the hand and I asked: ‘What are you doing here? He attempted to beg me not to reveal the secret but he never knew I’m a different kind of person because I had to slap him twice before attracting the neighbours.
The aftermath of the beating was not disclosed in this report and there was no official statement from the state police spokesperson, DSP Kenneth Nwosu as regards confirming or dispelling the report.
