Good Morning Mr Onofiok Luke,
With a heart of an exceeding joy, I write you this letter. My letter ‘ll not be like President Obasanjo’s letter to Presidents, and The National Assembly and individuals.
This my letter to you is born out of my love, passion, unsolicited support and concern to you and our tomorrow.
It’s not until you are my friend, my brother and until I see you that you should be my friend. I may not like you as a person, but I’m so much interested in what you are endowed with by God for the state, nation and our generation.
Your lifting in life is not by your efforts, generosity, intelligence or by any man but God. Though, you are humble, intelligence, kind and honest, and these are the sterling qualities people wants in a leader or in any man aspiring to lead. I return all glory to God on all these attributes.
Your emergence as Speaker is God and should be guarded jealously. I saw you danced when the Supreme Court gave the Judgement of Peace in the Akwa Ibom Governorship case. I saw you dance again in the “Nest of Champions” during the celebrated Thanksgiving Service by the government of Deacon Udom Emmanuel, our dear Governor.
I saw the sincerity, joy and youthfulness in you. I heard the remarks, comments of the people in the crowd about you and i was happy that a leader is coming out from amongst us.
I was in the stadium the other day, when you represented the governor on the The Super League Four Cup finals, I saw the jubilant crowd by your entrance, I heard too what people said about you. All these things and other good and outstanding things you have done and are doing endears you to me and others.
Mr Speaker, you are one of us, a product of us and you represent us and may it be known to you that, people are so much interested in you, your character and actions. Maybe, people think, we are that close, because I write things about you or post things on my wall that emanates from your office. Ine day, we shall meet, God willing.
In this life, I never thought I could have anything to say about you based on my perception towards you until I discovered the real you and message from God in you.
You have brought life back to the House of Assembly, and you have given hope to the hopeless people, that they too can become something. The Assembly is full of activities now, courtesy calls from within and without. God will bless you.
Mr Speaker, thank you and all the Distinguished Members for the speedy passage of the Budget.
Sir, as a common man, from a common family and village, and a product of common people called the street urchin, the airing of the Passage of the 2016 Budget on AKBC was in order, thereby promoting what we have. The Budget is an Akwa Ibom Budget for Akwa Ibom people and you are serving Akwa Ibom people. I would have really frowned as a friend questioned on social media, why it should be aired on AIT or Channels. By my investigation, it wasn’t aired on AIT OR CHANNELS.
Mr Speaker, since AIT did “Ground Breaking” for their Radio Station here in Abak, no one block has been raised there.
Mr Speaker, you command a brigade of followership that makes me afraid, how you ‘ll cope and service them. Some elders, fear of 2023, detractors may view your popularity and acceptability differently. Dont be distracted. The Lord is your strength and no weapon formed against you shall prosper in Jesus name, Amen.
I would have inbox you this letter but because, on this platform too, I write several things about you. It’s my place too to write this letter on this same page to you Mr Speaker.
Remember, you have what the world is looking for which are humility, intelligence, generosity and honesty. You are being watched, monitored and prayed for.
Thank you Mr Speaker.
To this, I put my name,
