Nigerian football community has lost one of its long-lasting administrators, Amodu Shuaibu, who dies on in his sleep on Friday, June 10, 2016 at the age of 58.
According to the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, which announced his death on Twitter on Saturday, June 11, 2016, Shuaibu complained of chest pains on Friday night before going to bed and didn’t wake up.
Shuaibu was the technical director of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF. He was a four-time coach of the Super Eagles.

News of the passing of Amodu Shuaibu comes three days after that of Nigerian legend, Stephen Keshi, a former Super Eagles captain and coach.
