Aisha Buhari, wife of Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari, has been flown to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), for medical treatment, according to reports.
Reports say Mrs Buhari was flown to Dubai on August 7, 2020 after suffering persistent neck pains after a brief visit to Lagos state.
The first lady was in Lagos to pay a condolence visit to Florence Ajimobi, the widow of a former governor of Oyo, Abiola Ajimobi.
Reports say Buhari went on 14 days self-isolation when the neck pain started. After the period of isolation and the pain persisted, the first lady was flown out of the country to seek medical help.
She is currently in Dubia in a medical facility.
