Defending champions, Nigeria are through to the final of the ongoing Chile 2015 Under-17 world cup. The Golden Eaglets beat their Mexican counterparts 4-2 in the wee hours of Friday, November 6, 2015.
Nigeria will now face fellow West-African nation, Mali in the final of the competition. In the first semi-final of the day, the Malian boys beat Belgium 3-1. This is the first time a team from Mali will make it to the final of an age grade competition.
Nigeria and Mali will now square up against each other in the final match slated for Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Vina del Mar.
Belgium and Mexico will also slug it out at the same venue in a third place match which will take place earlier in the day.
