#SoundOff: EFCC Now A Jihadist Tool To Subjugate Yoruba Christians

Must read

by Adeyinka Grandson

Kindly assist me with the names of Yoruba Muslims under persecution by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC because it appears that nearly all the Yorubas currently being investigated, or in detention under Buhari’s EFCC are Christians.

The Yoruba APC is, at once, a predominantly Yoruba Muslim political group, led by Bola Tinubu, Raji Fashola, Rauf Aregbesola, Ibikunle Amosu, and other Muslims.

When Obafemi Awolowo, Michael Ajasin, Bola Ige, and other Christians led the Yoruba nation politically, there was visible developments across Yorubaland.

When Dauda Adegbenro was elected premier of the Yoruba Western Region and the Hausa/Fulani Muslims-led Federal Government wouldn’t allow him to rule, the entire Yoruba nation, including the Christians and Muslims, as well as our Orisa adherents, protested over the infraction.

Today, the reverse is the case. Under Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Muslim-led Yoruba political party, which has also formed a coalition government with the Hausa/Fulani Muslims, we have witnessed the first religious war in Yorubaland, which started from Osun State over Hijabs.

The Tinubu-led Muslim political party, called the APC, won the backing of the Yoruba, under the guise of true federalism. But the party jettisoned the idea of regional government as soon as they came to power.

The EFCC has also continued to arrest only Yoruba Christian. Femi Fani-Kayode has been remanded in prison for about two months now [He was released evening of yesterday, July 15, 2016 after two months in detention]. Whilst the Yoruba Christians have been asking for his release, the Yoruba Muslims have been jubilating over his illegal imprisonment.

Truly speaking, as long as the Yoruba Christians and Aborisa do nothing to address the way and manner the Yoruba Muslims have carried themselves since the incursion of another Muslim Jihadist as the president of Nigeria, instability and wanton destruction of lives and properties would soon be the order of the day across Yorubaland.
