The attached video is that of Uromi General Hospital (UGH) in Esan North East local government area, Edo state.
As you can see from the video the very dilapidated and ramshackle state of both the structures and equipments. This rottenness is replicated in all the state owned hospitals and other medical facilities around the state.
For 8 years running, Edo state, under the porous leadership of Adams Oshiomhole, has no health care delivery blueprint or even the simplest directional strategic plan.

No single employment has been done in the health sector since 2008.
The medical store located at the popular Medical road in Benin city has become a home for cockroaches, rats and other rodents.
Children mortality rate has more than tripled since the last 5 years, our children die from preventable and treatable ailments.

Our pregnant women are always in life threatening condition throughout the duration of pregnancy and the rate of death resulting from labour/childbirth can better be imagined.
Edo state has the lowest doctor to patients ratio in the country. In some general hospitals, (e.g Urhonigbe general hospital) we have only one doctor who selflessly agreed to work in Urhonigbe because he is an indigene of the community.
There are no nurses or other essential staff, no equipments or even drugs to work with.
In his characteristic deceptiveness, governor Adams Oshiomole only carefully selected the central hospital at the middle of Benin city and erected one very flashy building without a single medical equipment just to catch the attention of the gullible people.
We know our governor, he is second to none in the use of sophistry and outright propaganda to cajole people.
Adams Oshiomhole can convince even an angel, with the words of his mouth, to work against God. He is indeed very “mouthed”.
We say NO to continuity in deceit.
We say NO to finishing our money well.
We say NO to Oshiomhole’s third term via his proxy.
We say NO to a directionless government.
We say NO to a purposeless government.
We say NO to Adams Oshiomhole.
