The traditional ruler of Mubi, Isah Ahamdu, has implored the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Adamawa State to stop deceiving the electorate if they want the party to succeed.
Ahamdu, who is possibly unsatisfied with the party’s modus operandi, issued the warning to hundreds of APC members who visited his palace in Mubi.
Premium Times reports that the APC members were led to the palace by the state acting chairman, Ibrahim Bilal.
The traditional ruler said: “Stop deceiving the electorate if you want your party to succeed in Nigeria.
“The era of deceit is passed, you must keep to your words.
“As a father to all of you here, if I cannot tell you the truth then I am not a good father.
“I advise you politicians to do what is right and sometimes do what your electorate want and not only what you want them to do.”
