President Goodluck Jonathan is set to visit the scene of the bomb blast which occurred at the Nyanya park in the Federal Capital Territory. He is said to have cancelled a planned trip to Ibadan.

President Jonathan has ordered heightened security in the FCT and also advised medical operatives to put all hands on deck to save the lives of the injured victims.
The area of the blast has already been cordoned off. Police officers, SSS officials, Fire Service, NEMA, are on ground battling to contain the situation and manage crowd control.
