Another one of common mistakes women make with men is trying to change him. A leopard doesn’t change his spots? Sure, people do change but thinking you can mould a man into your desired partner will most likely fail. A man is only going to change if he wants to.
3. Sharing your feelings too early
Please do not tell a man that you want to get married, have children and that you want a life partner/soul mate on the first (few) dates or too early on in the relationship. If you do, the likelihood is he will run faster than Usain Bolt.
4. Not understanding the signs
If a man is interested in you, he will most likely show it. If he’s not showing any interest in you, then you’re probably not his type. Don’t confuse it with playing hard to get. Men think very differently from women and most men will let you know if they want you. If he says he wants fun, then it’s not a relationship he’s after.
5. Judging his character
Like everything in life, you can’t always judge a book by its cover. You can’t always tell what someone is going to be like, unless you get to know them, no matter how good a judge of character you think you are.
6. Becoming jealous and possessive
Next one of common mistakes women make with men is becoming jealous and super possessive. Showing your jealous side is a trait of insecurity. Most men will look at an attractive woman, as it’s in their nature. However, for the loyal men out there, they’re not going to cheat. If a man is going to cheat on you, then he’s going to cheat regardless of your insecurities.
7. Checking his phone/facebook/email/twitter
Keeping a check on your partner is going to land you in a paranoid mess. If he has other women on his phone or social media it’s not necessarily because he’s lying or going to cheat. Let him have a life outside of your relationship and grow to trust each other.
8. Not giving him enough space
Being in a relationship doesn’t mean you have to spend every free minute together. Make sure you spend some time with friends outside of your relationship and let him have his own space too. Nobody likes a needy and suffocating girlfriend.
9. Not saying what you mean
If a man asks you what’s wrong, tell him. Pretending to be fine when you’re not and then being disappointed that he doesn’t care isn’t a great narrative for a romance. Your man isn’t a mind reader, so unless you give him the lowdown on how you’re feeling, don’t expect him to try and understand.
What other mistakes, on you opinion, do women make with men?
