Some social workers have discovered a seven-year-old boy living with pigs in a pen after pictures emerged of him riding with a pig in the back of his father’s farm tricycle.
Apparently, the boy communicated better with the animals than humans after he was found in a pig pen in their family house in Fangyu City, in central China’s Henan Province.
Liu Hongbo was so messed up with some cuts and bruises which he possibly sustained from the pigs.

Speculations are high that the parents probably neglected his three siblings and they died, and a fourth child was reportedly taken away by the boy’s aunt shortly after birth.
After the discovery, neighbours revealed that the boy was often heard crying after being beaten by his mother.
“When somebody goes round sometimes to tell her to stop, she just smiles as if nothing has happened. She’s always beating him and throwing him around the house,” said one of the neighbours.
The 7-year-old was discovered outside on a pile of clothes in an empty pigpen and “smelt like a pig” but the social workers, from a nearby children’s home, were unable to take him away as they need permission from city officials before being able to intervene.
Though they believe that he might still learn to speak and have a normal life as time goes on.
ICrossChina reports that the boy has been sent to stay with his aunt and will be admitted to a local hospital for a physical examination.
